Security — redefined!
ShedLight

ShedLight is an initiative of DieDefa GmbH, founded in 2024.
DieDefa itself was established in 2016 as a consulting company — with the ambition to act as a technological and organizational think tank, stepping in precisely where others fail or hesitate.

Our team consists of

  • specialists in organizational structures and methodologies
  • experts in technology and implementation
  • security-cleared professionals
  • free thinkers and freelancers

This diversity enables us to develop solutions that are not standard market practice, but innovative, non-standard, and market-changing.

Our Commitment

  • It is not technology that sets the limits — but imagination.
  • Technology must not dictate the organization.
  • Ecology and economy must be made compatible.

Why ShedLight?
The number of our successful projects has grown steadily – despite the COVID-19 pandemic and the war in Ukraine.
However, since 2024, the global situation has changed significantly:

  • Hybrid and cyber threats are increasing.
  • Established alliances are being challenged, while new ones need to be forged.
  • “Trust” has turned into “Zero Trust"

Our Approach

Europe is currently too reliant on external, non-European structures in many sectors

  • Base systems (Microsoft, Google – dependency close to 100%)
  • Cloud structures (over 90%)
  • Cyber Intelligence & Security (currently around 99% reliance on the U.S.)

With ShedLight, we create a counterweight by developing European solutions to European challenges.

Our Capabilities
ShedLight functions as a think tank, creating a toolbox of innovative concepts and products:

  • Cyber Intelligence: Early-warning systems, threat analysis
  • Cybersecurity: Schutzsysteme, Resilienzprogramme

Communications

Partnerships and Collaborations
